A Hospitality-Inspired Vision for Building Amenities
The owners of 655 Montgomery sought to create a warmer, more welcoming experience within the building’s lobby and amenity spaces. To bring this vision to life, March and White Design—a hospitality-focused interiors firm—was engaged to lead the design effort.
Transforming an Underutilized Ground-Floor Space
The new lounge and conferencing areas were constructed within a long-unused, shell-condition ground-floor space. Thoughtful use of wood finishes, accent colors, and generous lighting helped activate the space and create a comfortable, inviting environment.
A Cohesive Lobby Experience Rooted in Existing Materials
The lobby design carried the same aesthetic language while respecting the building’s original travertine stone walls and flooring. By blending new design elements with existing materials, the updated spaces feel cohesive, refined, and timeless.
