Qualys’ success led to this expansion and relocation project. Having been in Foster City since inception, the company was focused on remaining close to home and managed to move only miles down the street.
Integrating Secure Testing with Public-Facing Spaces
We integrated functional equipment testing labs alongside traditional public facing corporate functions to help Qualys’ showcase to potential customers, and employees, the back-end of their backbone testing technology. Introducing public access and visibility to the highly secure testing environment required substantial consideration to maintaining government level physical security protocols.
Maximizing Value Through Rigorous Preconstruction and Bidding
Like most of our projects, we were taxed with maximizing value and adhering to a thoughtful, but strict budget. To do so, we completed a detailed preconstruction effort and studied alternative assemblies for some of our most complicated glazing, ceiling, and wall systems. To maximize overall return, we created a competitive bid environment across all aspects of the project.
