Airbnb needed to move quickly to reposition this vacant demolished building. We worked with tight floor to ceiling heights to maximize natural light, relocated the core restrooms and vertical HVAC stack to allow for more open office window line, and brought in thoughtful materials and color tones to help accentuate the space while staying budget conscious.

The entire project was delivered in less than 14 months from inception to turn-over, all while staying 5% under the initial budget and still winning Silicon Valley Business Times’ TI of the year.
Sustainable Outdoor Spaces Designed for Connection
Exterior courtyard improvements included eliminating the outdated amphitheater, adding additional connectivity to the interior spaces, adding enclosed collaboration spaces, adding dining, and adding decks to the exterior balconies so they were occupiable spaces. To cut down on their carbon footprint, Airbnb installed a recycled water system to be used to flush toilets in lieu of domestic water.
